Day 01 - Arrival/Colombo City/Colombo City Tour
You are met with traditional Sri Lankan hospitality at the airport, and then transported in your own private air-conditioned vehicle by our courteous English speaking Chauffeur-guide to Colombo City, where you will check-in to your luxury hotel in Colombo. This is an ideal place to stay in Colombo city, as everything is very nearby. You will enjoy an interesting City Tour which includes important residential and commercial areas, shopping centers, where elaborate and beautiful carvings add to the mystical ambience of being in this exotic land.

Day 02 - Pinnawela Elephants/Dambulla Cave Temple/Sigiriya
After breakfast, you could visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, where baby elephants are cared by man. Be sure to watch the morning feeding and bathing sessions, which are truly a sight to see. Following this, you will be taken to Dambulla, home of the famous Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, with its marvelous Buddhist statues and frescoes dating back to our ancient times, all inside of an amazing cave. Finally you arrive at Sigiriya, and check in to your hotel.

Day 03 - Sigiriya Rock Fortress/Polonnaruwa Ancient Sites/Giritale
After breakfast, you can attempt to make a leisurely climb up the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, which is a massive rock rising out of the otherwise flat plains, on top of which is a very ancient fortress/palace/temple, accessible only through the paws of a massive lion figure, and decorated with ancient "dancing maidens" all the way up. Following this you will visit the awe-inspiring ancient sites at Polonnaruwa, the most recently discovered ancient city in Sri Lanka, where you can explore well preserved statues and observe the life and surroundings in Sri Lanka's very ancient times. Later, a visit to Giritale, to view one of Sri Lanka's largest man-made lakes, surrounded by scenic mountains, and built for irrigation purposes in ancient times by damming up the valley with rock and earth.

Day 04 – Anuradapura Ancient Sites
After breakfast, you will drive to Anuradhapura, the first Ancient Capital of Sri Lanka, which has a wealth of ancient ruins and statues to be viewed. Here you will also see the oldest historically documented tree on this planet, which stands here unbroken for over 2,200 years.

Day 05 -Sigiriya/Spice Gardens/Kandy Hill Station/the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic/Cultural Dance Program
After breakfast, drive to Kandy, the centre of traditional Sri Lankan culture, and home to the Kings of old. Along the way, you will visit an aromatic Spice Garden in Matale. Following this you will check-in at your luxury hotel in Kandy. In the evening, you will visit the beautiful Dalada Maligawa, "The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha", following which; you will really enjoy a Cultural Dance Program.

Day 06 - Kandy City Tour/Nuwara Eliya Hill Country/Hakgala Gardens/Nuwara Eliya City Tour
After breakfast, you will enjoy a City Tour of Kandy, which includes the Upper & Lower Lake Drives, a Gem Museum, and the famous Kandy Market, amongst other very interesting sights. Following this a spectacular drive around the mountains, viewing endless tea plantations and majestic waterfalls, brings you to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka's "Little England" where time seems to have stood still since the days of the British occupation. On the way to Nuwara Eliya you will visit a typical Tea Factory & enjoy a freshly brewed cup of tea. In the evening leisurely visit the Hakgala Gardens, where you can appreciate the wide variety of exotic flowers and plants. Following this you will enjoy a City Tour of Nuwara Eliya.

Day 07 – Nuwara Eliya Hill Country/Ella Landscape/Tissamaharama/Yala National Park
After breakfast, another spectacular drive down the mountains to Tissamaharama, via Ella, Ella is blessed with some of the most beautiful views, you could find in Sri Lanka. Some of the places you could see in Ella are the Ella Gap, Ravana Ella Falls, Little Adam's Peak and Bambaragala Peak among the other many stunning scenery.
In evening you will be taken on a jeep safari to Yala National Park, Yala National Park is a national park in Sri Lanka. The reserve covers 979 km², although only the original 141 km² are open to the public. Much of the reserve is parkland, but it also contains jungle, beaches, freshwater lakes and rivers and scrubland. The latter zone is punctuated with enormous rocky outcrops. The range of habitats gives rise to a good range of wildlife. Yala has the world's highest concentration of Leopards, although seeing this largely nocturnal carnivore still requires some luck. There are good numbers of Asian Elephants, Crocodile, Wild Boar, Water Buffalo and Grey langurs amongst other large animals. The open parkland attracts birds of prey such as White-bellied Sea Eagle and the wetlands have Waders, Painted Storks, and the rare Stork. Land birds of course are in abundance, and include Sirkeer Malkoha, Indian Peafowl and Sri Lanka Jungle fowl.

Day 08- Tissamaharama/Galle Fort/Bentota Beach
After breakfast, you drive to Bentota. Along the way, you will visit to the famous Galle Fort, which was build by the Portuguese to protect the southern tip of Sri Lanka, and is still almost like it was in ancient times. Finally, you arrive at Bentota, and check in to your hotel. Bentota offers water sports possibilities nowhere else to be found. Apart from swimming, body-surfing or diving in the sea, you can jet-ski, windsurf, parasail or enjoy a river safari on the river and lagoon. In the evening you will visit a Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda

Day 09- Last day/Airport
The day to relax and perhaps do some last minute souvenir shopping, as well as to bid goodbye to beautiful & exotic Sri Lanka, and it's wonderful people, scenery, and mystical ambience. Today you will be accompanied to the airport in time to board your flight back home.
